A wine estate at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup

Domaine Uma is a wine estate located in Valflaunès, on the road to the Aleyrac chapel, in the heart of the Pic Saint-Loup appellation. The stone farmhouse, the century-old olive trees, and the gray 2CV parked in front of the winery set the tone upon arrival: a well-maintained place, without ostentation, surrounded by vineyards with Pic Saint-Loup and Hortus as a backdrop.

Canopée, the summer table under the trees

From May to September, the estate sets up its tables in the park, beneath the tall trees. This is the Canopée restaurant, open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday. We had lunch there on the terrace, in the shade, overlooking the vineyards: the setting is as important as the food, and the view of Pic Saint-Loup is one of those that makes you linger over your meal. One detail to know before booking: the brazier cuisine, the restaurant's signature, is only offered in the evening.

A fresh kitchen with Latin American accents

In the kitchen, a Chilean chef creates a Mediterranean menu infused with bold South American influences. Our marinated fish carpaccio, enhanced with condiments and pickles, was a perfect demonstration: fresh products, vibrant seasonings, precise plating. Prices remain reasonable for this level of setting and cuisine.

Symbiose, the gastronomic restaurant of the winery

The estate also houses Symbiose, an intimate gastronomic restaurant with 24 seats located in the heart of the wine cellar, with a menu starting at €55 built around the property's wines. A perfect way to transform a simple lunch break into a true escape in the Grand Pic Saint-Loup, twenty minutes from the communes we cover daily.
