House of Nature — point of interest

5 minutes from Montpellier in Lattes, Maison de la Nature is a nature reserve for nature and bird lovers.

This link offers several trails for walking along the pond and discovering different bird species: storks, herons, egrets,... there's something for every taste and every size!

Well-preserved, the Maison de la Nature also offers a museum open all day in summer and in the afternoons in winter.

Warning: parking is inconvenient and recent rainfall has contributed to creating significant potholes at the time of writing.

The location is accessible to people with reduced mobility, and a dedicated paved parking space is provided. Toilets are available on site.
